Problems with the Linux version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

Hi, I have a 144GB err.file just sitting in my Linux Server... WHY is this file 144GB and can I delete it? If yes then can I make it auto-delete this file? Tried opening the file but none of the editors want to open that file due to how large it is. So it's dead weight anyway. The file is located at /opt/lampp/var/mysql/file.err and it's just taking storage waste.

Of course. Ask in a Linux forum how to automatically delete a file. Thats not a Xampp issue.

It was an Xampp issue if it installed a bug that kept spamming errors and I had to update after I installed the update.

Still not. Xampp does not spam errors, instead one of your PHP scripts or similar does.
