I did some research on Kernel Oops, actually the offending process will be killed immediately and the machine will be in an unstable condition. Not good.
Debugging Kernel Oops is a real hackers job, we cannot do that here. The question remains, which process is "Oopsing"? Is it the installer, or is it later on the Apache Process, or MySQL process or what? If the installer fails, one might to install a Zipped Package instead, as there is no installer, you simply have to unzip the container to /opt/lampp.
P.S.: For an unknown reason Bitnami does not provide ZIP Packages for Linux (there are Windows Packages, but not Linux). Hm?! Dont know why. If you want, i can do an installation on my Laptop and ZIP into a single Package and give you download link. But first of all we have to know, which process fails.
Which Kernel relases are you running on your Linux and which kind of CPU?
