Problems with the Mac OS X version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

Whenever I try to use any of the links on the manager-osx.app, XAMPP insists on opening Safari, despite it not being the default browser on my computer. Is there any way to have manager-osx respect my browser preferences?
Using 1.8.3-3 on Mavericks.
I have just recently upgraded (from 1.7.something) and have to say that the upgrade was dead simple and everything works as advertised. Except that nasty little habit of opening Safari.

I have to agree with this - I'm using the latest version of xampp and 10.9.3 - all defaults are set to Chrome but xampp insists on opening safari - which file do I need to change to point to chrome????
