Problems with the Windows version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

I have tried uninstalling Xampp using the uninstall script but it says something about vbscript permissions and it doesn't delete the files except now my uninstall script is missing. How do I get this thing off my computer?

Just do this on your own:
- unregister all xampp services you registered before
- delete startmenu/desktop icons
- delete your xampp folder
thats it.

I didn't see anything that looked like it is from Xampp in services.msc. Anything in particular I should be looking for?

Apache 2.2
MySQL
Mercury
Filezilla Server
If you don't see any of them in your services.msc, you don't have any services registered and everything is fine.
