im getting relay peed of with this no so i tryed to reinstall xampp uninstallg old one installed xampp again now apache will not atart when i was installing the apache service it said ports 80 and some other are being used but on the port checker tool there all fre wt is going on with this
apache <http> 80 = free
apache <webdav> 81 = free
apache <https> 443 = free
i dont get this it relay annoying if i dont sort it soon im gonna go bloody insane trying

dont know what i done but i uninstalled it again and reinstalled without installing the services and apache now starts
but i cant acsess secrity

yay it turns out tht one of my datbase tables for smf was corrupt repaird and optimised the table and it works just one more thing i cant acsess secrity page still tho can you help/

Edit httpd-xampp.conf (in folder "extra"), find the configuration related to "security" and replace
- Code: Select all
Allow from localhost
by
- Code: Select all
Allow from 127.0.0.1
and restart Apache.

replaced two instances of Allow from localhost with Allow from 127.0.0.1 and still cat get there im getting the samething

Replace 127.0.0.1 by your LAN IP (192.x.x.x or) and try again.
And/Or replace 127.0.0.1 by sleepy-arcade.ath.cx and try again.
I dont know to which IP Apache is listening while performing this request (it depends on your local settings).
If you still have no access, you may supply "Allow From All" - this will solve it anyway.
