When I open my site, this message comes.
"dowload test1.php"
I cannot understand why?
What do you type in the address bar of your browser to get to your site?
Because you have designated a port in the VirtualHost directive for your site the address should look like this:
http://www.test.wowdns.com:8080/test1.phpIf you just want to type:
http://www.test.wowdns.com/test1.phpThen you need to change the VirtualHost to:
NameVirtualHost *:80
<VirtualHost *:80>
Make sure these entries are in the Windows hosts file:
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 test.wowdns.com
127.0.0.1
www.test.wowdns.com
::1 localhost
If you see this IPv6 setting then you can safely delete or comment it out (add # ) it as it may cause some issues in XAMPP running Vista - you can always put it back if it causes issues with IPv6 aware Vista programs.:
# ::1 localhost <- commented out
php.ini
When you installed XAMPP did you run
setup-xampp.bat file to have your installation paths correctly set as I see some very strange entries in your php.ini file?
What directory did you copy and paste this php.ini file from as I don't recognize this php.ini file as being an XAMPP default, found here:
.\xampp\apache\bin\php.ini
It looks to me as though you may have another instance of PHP running on your PC, perhaps from a tutorial or some designer/coder software.
Look at
http://localhost/xampp/phpinfo.php and see what php.ini file is being used.
If all else fails uninstall any other instances of PHP you have running, or remove the reference to the other instance from the Path in the Windows System Variables.
Also you may like to uninstall XAMPP using the un-installation instructions in the readme file after closing all the XAMPP modules and any XAMPP services including the Control Panel.
Then install XAMPP again into a root directory of your hard drive for example C:\ then C:\xampp would be the installation directory or K:\ then K:\xampp would be the installation directory etc.
(
you can make backups of any file you have edited and re edit the new installation files accordingly).
You can designate the XAMPP instance of PHP for your other software to use, usually in some configuration setting in the other PHP software - XAMPP must use the PHP included in the release by default.
