Hi,
I'm using XAMPP for local website development. In my XAMPP root are several subdirectories which represent websites I'm building.
So I can access them via: http://xamproot/www.website.com
Now when I incorporate a link to a homepage of one of these sites I link to index.php (obviously). But due to a new approach I need to have links to the homepage of that specific site as '/' (link to root). But this obviously links to the XAMP root (http://xamproot).
My question is: is there a way to create a specific document root for these sites (effectively linking '/' to 'http://xamproot/www.website.com')? I need to do this on a per-site basis. Can somebody help me with this? (or tell me this is impossible maybe???). Thanks in advance!
I've installed XAMPP on a server (windows 2000) which is in an internal network.
