Hi, I need help

Postby beho » 21. May 2020 14:14

Hi, I'm new to the xampp and I need to create a program that compares two numbers and lists whether the number is >, < or =.

Any advice will help. Thank you.

Sounds for me like a school homework.

It is. We receive tasks via email. But the problem is that we haven't worked in xampp in our lives. We never even programed in general. So I have no idea how to do it. I searched the internet and found nothing that made sense to me. So I turned to you.

Come on, there are plenty of tutorials, documentations, videos etc. in the internet, it never has been easier to find everything you need because of the internet.

Enter "php for beginners tutorial' into Google and then take your time. We will not solve your little problem for you, you must learn how to work on yourself and how to learn new things. If you have any problems setting up Xampp and how to run your own programs, you can ask about that, but we will not give you a working solution for your task. That is not the idea of your homework.

I didn't say anywhere that I wanted you to do it. As a beginner, I ask for advice on how to learn it as quickly and best as possible.

And that is exactly what Nobbie told you.

Roadmap:
- Install XAMPP and start Apache
- Learn what PHP is, how it works
- Learn how to request your own php Scripts (Hello World script)
- Search and learn about the PHP Comparison Operators
- Write your final script

Ok, good so. And now simply do what i told you to do, thats my advice. A good starting point is installing Xampp, then go for PHP tutorials. I am pretty sure that you will also find tutorials which include Xampp as well. If in doubt, include it in to the search pattern.

Last not least: all of us had to learn it this way. Nobody is born with the ability to program PHP (unfortunately).
