How to use CPAN.bat on a memory stick?

I'm trying to setup XAMPP on a memory stick and want to pull some things off CPAN. Unfortunately, I already have two other versions of perl installed (Activestate and cygwin) and this confuses the cpan.bat file included in the distribution. Any easy way to use CPAN with the perl XAMPP addon?

Never Mind. I just used CPAN under cygwin and copied the files over.
