What version of Xampp to install ez publish 3.9?

Postby xtian » 25. February 2007 21:21

Hi to you all.
I have the need to instal Ez Publish 3.9 a open source CMS.
It has these specifics:

Apache version:
The latest version of the 1.3 branch.
or
Apache 2.x runned in "prefork" mode.
Do not use Apache 2.x for Windows!

PHP version:
The latest version of the 4.4 branch (4.4.4 I mean).
Do not use PHP 5!

Database server:
MySQL 3.23 or later (4.1 or later if you wish to use UTF-8)

I downloaded and install last version of Xampp: XAMPP 1.6.0a installer for windows but the installation of Ez Publish does not work. I think it is becouse the Apache version is Apache 2.2.4.

Someone can tell me if exist a previous version of Xampp to install with the correct specifics and where to dowload it?
Or what is "Apache 2.x runned in "prefork" mode"?
Thank you.

With this specifications, you can't use XAMPP. (or use another CMS)

Well... this is not the reply I hoped for. :(
I need to use Ez but I read about a "prefork" apache config. What is it?

I think it's easier, to install all components individually.

Do you know if there is some tutorial?
Or if it possible to install them separately after the installation of Xampp through installer?
