Search - use current forum only

When I do a search from "XAMPP for Windows" (English) I get results from all the forums.

Is there a way to restrict results to my current forum?

Hmm,
--> Search --> search options --> change "All" to "XAMPP for Windows"
does work here without problems.

Yes, that works here too.

I thought there may be an option that automatically used the "current" forum, wherever I am.

But manually selecting it every time is next best.
