Fresh Install of Linux, can't get XAMPP Apache running

Postby nickytee » 09. January 2007 12:19

Hi All,

Just installed debian woody and can't get xampp apache running :(

Get the following error (in error_log)
1.
Invalid argument: LDAP cache: could not create shared memory segment

If I comment out the LDAP modules in httpd.conf, I get the following error :-
2.
Invalid argument: Unable to create scoreboard (anonymous shared memory failure)

I read the FAQs for error no 2 but it said to remove the ScoreBoard directive in httpd.conf (which I cannot find!)

Anyone help?

Do not fear, it is not just you who doesn't have this line. My suggestions are to just simply add the line into the configuration file. Anywhere after the modules section should be fine:
