Problems with the Linux version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

How do I remove the redirect and have "http://192.168.1.100/" go right to the root page in "http://192.168.1.100/" instead of redirecting to "http://192.168.1.100/xampp/"?
I've read something on ".htaccess" files but the one I found in "/xampp/" isn't letting me edit it.
What do I do? What should I change and where?

The redirect is in the file "index.html" or "index.php".
(Maybe you must clear your browser cache)
