hi, i was just wondering if there is a way to make mysql tables allow uppercase letters. whenever i create a table like "News" mysql converts it to"news" it makes it difficult to export data from my computer database and import it to my webserver database. thanks for the help

Well, there is a way, like you can read in the MySQL manual. But you realy should only use lowercase (ascii) letters and digits (and no spaces) for the identifiers to avoid problems.

MySQL stores all databases and tables in the filesytem. But each filesystem have it's own limitation (allowed directory/filenames).
