Recompile PHP with SNMP

Postby gzerphey » 31. October 2006 23:28

Question for you guys, I am currently running XAMPP and I am quite happy with it. I do, however, have to recompile the PHP portion of it and include a line to tell the system where it can find my SNMP information. (al la this page: http://us3.php.net/manual/en/ref.snmp.php).

My problem is two-fold.
1) I do not know how to recompile php under a windows environment
2) I do not want to accidentally compile the php with SNMP, but forget the wonderful packages that are built into XAMPP and thus lose functionality.

Can anyone help me here?

Thank you,
gzerphey

There is no need to recompile PHP. Just enable the extension in "php.ini".
