Curl + xampp = fatal error

Postby Mer » 25. October 2006 12:07

Hello--

I'm trying to write a series of scripts in curl that I plan on running on my laptop however seeing that I don't have curl enabled this is turning out to be problematic.

I went to all of the files shown here:
Image
And changed the variables so that curl is enabled (I didn't know what to do with the last file, as it seemed as though curl was already enabled:
[curl/*]
parent=Rippers
browser="cURL"

After restarting I'm still having problems...

Any ideas?

Well, as I had said that I don't have curl enabled and now when I'm trying to run a script that is based on curl, php does not recognize the function and thus is producing this error:

Fatal error: Unknown function: curl_init() in C:\xampp\htdocs\bar\bar.php on line 6

Thanks-

as it seemed as though curl was already enabled:
Code: Select all
[curl/*]
parent=Rippers
browser="cURL"

This is from phpinfo()?

I checked the link and it seems as though I have imap running.

[curl/*]
parent=Rippers
browser="cURL"

Is from '\xampp\php\browscap\browscap.ini' the last file that I read was needed to edit before curl would work. I read it from menyhart.net (Seen in the image I posted) I posted that because I didn't know what to do to edit it so that it would allow curl to function.

In phpinfo I don't have any mention about 'curl'

Should I reinstall xampp or something?
Maybe with the newer version I can get curl to work...
