Can you start MySQL with the batchfile?

No, i cannot start MySQL using bat.

I'm no expert, so don't shoot me if i'm wrong, but you said you have set your ports in your router, but do you have a firewall on your p.c, and if so; have you also allowed the ports in that; i.e allowing appache and also mySQL through your firewall.

also, I think there is plenty of people on here who may be able to help, but they may not log-on and surf the forum every day.

I had to exact same problem when I use to run XAMPP.
Uninstall the MYSQL Service in XAMPP Control Panel and Re-Install it, then try starting MYSQL.

Then you have a problem with the registered windows service for MySQL.

Delete the wrong service with (in "cmd.exe"):
