Backup Restore Problems

I'm trying to restore a backup I created but I'm getting the following error message:

I'm executing the command on a different computer than the backup was made but it's still done in the latest version of xampp. Why is it not working?

I've been trying to get this working for 10 days now and I have found no solution. Is there anyway that I can recover the mysql data manually from the backup? That's all that really matters from that. Thanks...

got the same problem with a backup from XAMPP 1.5.3a and no solution, sorry..

wow, that really sucks... I'm never going to trust the xampp backup system and I shouldn't have in the first place.
