install mmcache on xampp

Hello,

Does anybody knows how to install mm cache on xampp ?

My system :
Sarges (kernel : 2.6.8-2-386)
XAMPP Linux 1.4.16

when I give the instruction :
$PHP_PREFIX/bin/phpize

I get :

Configuring for:

Zend Extension Api No:
Cannot find autoconf. Please check your autoconf installation and the $PHP_AUTOCONF
environment variable is set correctly and then rerun this script.

Obviously, the script is not adaptated to the xampp path organisation.
Is there a way to fix the problem ?

Just after posting this topic, I did install xampp devel packqage and autoconf. And then, the installation of mmcache worked fine.

I installe the developer package by untar ithe tar file. Is there any other steps to be taken to install the develioper package.

Further can you reply what steps to be taken to install the autoconf.

Your help in this regard is highly appreciated.
