Reinstalling failed

Hi

After removing XAMPP from my computer and installing a new version controlpanel no longer works.

Starting with the exe and bat files works ok... but not controlepanel.

Cheked the info string to folder and its ok !!!

Anyone know what this is all about ?

OS: XP Pro / SP 2
P 4: 2.8 GHz
Ram: 2 Gb
Mainboard: MSI newest BIOS
Grafic: MSI 9800
HDD: MANYYYYYYYY and BIGGGG once

Antivirus: Symantec norton 2005
