php with command line and question about installation

I repeat these questions, it's very important for me

1 .IS THERE ANYONE HERE WHO IS ABLE TO USE PHP WITH THE COMMAND LINE ?


2.IS THERE ANYONE HERE THAT INSTALL XAMMP ELSEWHERE THAT IN THE '/OPT' DIRECTORY ?

Hello everybody,

i have 2 questions about xampp.

1. i want to use php with the command line,
so i go to

Code: Select all

/opt/lampp/bin

and then i type

Code: Select all

php

.
but the command is not known by the system !


2. if i want to install lampp in another folder than /opt, is it possible ?
(because on a dynebolic, i can't install such programs in the /opt folder which is reserved
to the dynebolic module, it's the reason that i 'd like to install it eslewhere).
