0.81 Version bug

Postby krelvinaz » 09. April 2006 04:39

Using xampp security does not update the proftpd.conf file properly for the password

It does...

Code: Select all
# commented out by xampp security
#UserPassword nobody 1M/3pedh2XPtE
UserPassword nobody

Without any password following nobody.

This results in an error when starting proftpd like

Code: Select all
XAMPP: Starting ProFTPD...
XAMPP:  - Fatal: UserPassword: missing arguments on line 38 of '/opt/xampp/etc/proftpd.conf'
XAMPP: Error 1! Couln't start ProFTPD!

Dear krelvinaz!

Thanks a lot. I think I found the error.
