Irgendwelche Probleme mit XAMPP für Linux? Dann ist hier genau der richtige Ort um nachzufragen.

hi

i have thise error

after i extract it

tar xvfz xampp-linux-1.5.1.tar.gz -C /opt

Code: Select all
gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--crc error

gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--length error
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors



now what ?

@thorsin... thats not right, XAMPP must be unpackt
by tar -xzvf xampp.......tar.gz -C /opt
not any others !

please download XAMPP for Linux by another MIRROR, your Download have CRC Error (Tar File corrupt).

Please control your Download with this MD5 checsum:
baefcf7ac3629a641c7b75c547564a3f
with this command " md5sum xampp-linux-1.5.1.tar.gz "

If any char not the same, then your Download is once more corrupt

in the past view days many mirrors of sourceForge have problems, not only for XAMPP any other projects to.


EDIT:
- Please tell us which Linux-Distribution you use
- You know that alle commands for XAMPP must have "root" requirements !?

thats wrong! it does not matter if he executes mine or yours! the important thing is not to call the force before the zip parameter!

x = extract
v = verbose
z = zip
f = force

so it does not matter where you put the verbose here!

oh...i see my fault.... excuse me.

you are right, i have see the unpack command without -C /opt in your example.
