The setup won't allow me to choose G:\ as the directory I wish to use for installation. This causes me to end up with G:\xampp\xampp\....
Why doesn't the installer allow for G:\ so I don't get double xampp directories?

This is anBug...
You can try to use "G:\.\" in the "chosse directory" dialog. Or use the ZIP / 7ZIP-Exe for the installation.
