To allow users from outside to connect, you have to forward the ftp-port

ive already done that, i think my problem is that i can't add/edit users and passwords within the program so i should probably consult filezilla.org

oke when i add a new member it works now you only have to delete the old ones the test accounts then you can add a new one.

but i still can't conect to my ftp from out side of my network and the poort 21 is open on my router any ideas why i cant conect to my ftp server outside of my network?

Thanks in advanced,

Have you opened them in any software firewalls that you may have, and check and make sure windows firewall is disabled.

For anyone else who has problems configuring the ftp, the simplest way is to not even use it but go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/filezilla/ and download the full server. It's got a very easy to configure interface and will still integrate into the xampp controls. Besides port forwarding, you'll be up and running within minutes.
