Strange Virtual Host problem

Postby jg » 02. February 2006 16:59

I've got some strangeness happening. I've been using XAMPP for several months now and have had no problems. However, I now need to run virtual hosts. I've set it up, they seem to work just fine, except when I just put in the domain name it always adds the /xampp sub directory to the url. If I put a specific page or php file, everything comes up fine for each of the vhosts. I've got DocumentIndex set to index.php, but still no joy.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

you need to either delete or rename the original 'index.html' that was installed to the /htdocs/ dir when you installed XAMPP.
