no localhost access

on my computer that has xampp installed i can type either 127.0.0.2 or 192.168.2.14 and view the default site... http://local host does nothing... and if i put 192.168.2.14 into any other computer it says unable to connect to server... is this a router problem? i have a hub and a router... this computer plugs into the hub, then into the router

your computer IP seems not 192.168.2.14 or 127.0.0.2.

own/local computer default IP is 127.0.0.1 or localhost.

If the above correct, you are of course cannot connect to 192.168.2.14 as this IP don't have any web server enabled...

First check the IP, then check if you have your subnet and gateway properly config.
