^M in .81

I think there are problem with XAMPP .81 for Solaris
it contains ^M characters which are DOS based and hence UNIX doesnt
understand the whole distribution cant be installed..

is there a work around?

They are superfluos characters and ignored by Solaris. Mine is working fine even with the ^M
