Looking voor Xampp with mysql 4.1.X

Postby nikibh » 17. January 2006 21:18

Hi,

Got this link from a friend. I was using PHPDEV 5 BETA before from firepages.com.au But that programm wasn't working very good. So a friend suggested me to use xampp. Well I installed xampp but it's using mysql 5.0.18. My database is working with mysql 4.11 But with mysql 5 my database isn't working properly. So I really need and xampp package with mysql 4. Tried a lot of different packages but coudn;t find the right one. I hope someone could suggest me a good package with mysql 4. I need it for my windows server (Win XP SP2).

I hope someone could help me out.
Thanks in advance.

Why? The most time the problem is not MySQL5, but a script with incorrect sql statements...

So I really need and xampp package with mysql 4.

Look inside the faq. Thee you can find a package list.

Read the faq's. But they aren't giving me an awnser.
I use a special webstore database that's not compatible with mysql5. So it code isn't wrong.
Anyone knows in which package version of XAMPP mysql 4 is included???

There are many "professional" scripts with a wrong code... (eg. long time Burning Board from WoltLab)

But saying "it's not compatible" is easier and less expensiv then correct the bugs ;-)

Anyone knows in which package version of XAMPP mysql 4 is included???

I've you told this. (the big link at the top of this forum)
