Dear all,

I am newbie here. I want to ask how to run xampp in my mac os x after I installed?

I tried in terminal
I typed

Sastro-Gozalis-Computer:~sastro$
Sastro-Gozalis-Computer:~sastro$ sudo su
Password:
Sastro-Gozalis-Computer:/Users/sastro root#
Sastro-Gozalis-Computer:/Users/sastro root# /Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/mampp start

su: /Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/mampp : No such file or directory

I dunno what happened here. Does anyone know? Please help me.

In mac, can I make an icon to make it start and stop like in Windows?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Sastro

Make sure you are in the the root directory when you type the command. When you first start up terminal you will be in user/$youruser directory,

type cd / to go to root. You can check by typing pwd which will show you where you are. then log in as su and run the command.
