how do i get the linux beta announced oct. 26?

saw the news release, registered and logged in, and clicked on the beta download link, but it's not clear to me what happens next (the german faqs don't help me, i'm afraid ...)?

restart browser and try again... but i mean there is a login script for manual entry in this section...
