Exclude modules of Xampp

Postby siric » 20. October 2005 18:10

Hi,

My Solaris machine already has Apache up and running. Is itpossible to install Xampp for the PHP anbd Mysql modules and exclude Apache?

Thanks

Not really since it is a combined bundle.

You can load the Xampp distribution and setup the apache it is using on a different port though and have two apache servers running.

You can also not enable the Xampp apache server.

but... if you are getting the package because you want php enabled in your apache, you need to use the one that the xampp package comes with since that is where it is combined.
