MCrypt

Postby Ehtyar » 21. September 2005 10:53

Hi guys,
Ive spent most of my day on this, and im hoping you can help me out. I have loaded mcrypt after much hardship, but i still have a problem. Every time i start apache, i get an error pop up saying that php_mcrypt.dll and php_mhash.dll are not valid win32 applications.
If anyone has any idea what could be causing this, id love to head from you, thanks so much.

I have loaded mcrypt

You have what?

Every time i start apache, i get an error pop up saying that php_mcrypt.dll and php_mhash.dll are not valid win32 applications.

"php_mcrypt.dll" and "php_mhash.dll" are both working fine on my XAMPP. Your XAMPP version?

Ive removed the semicolons in front of the mod names in the php.ini, and now i get the error. I suppose the fact that my modules arent working is the reason i posted here.....
*edit*
I'm using version 1.4.13

after updating using the zip files, to 1.4.15, see http://community.apachefriends.org/f/viewtopic.php?p=58209, i no longer have the error on startup, but the module won't initialize, any new ideas?
