Get FreeTDS Working

I installed Xammp and am having trouble getting FreeTds working so I can connect to a SQL 2000 server.

I uncommented extension=php_mssql.dll in my php.ini. Configured the FreeTDS:

[SQLServer2000]
host = 192.168.10.111
port = 1433
tds version = 8.0

This is exactly what it was when I had another version running that I compiled myself.

Are there any steps that I might need to do?

This is the Mac OS X forum. And a DLL is for Windows.

Now, what is your OS?

It is OS X 10.4.2. The .dll is what was in my php.ini. Should it be .so?

I have had it working on my system before, but not with Xammp.
