MAJOR ERROR PLEASE HELP, XAMPP CRASHES

Postby luminaty » 23. July 2005 12:43

After xampp is runing for a while I get a major crash:

[Sat Jul 23 10:08:56 2005] [notice] child pid 13818 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

this happens all the time, I need help soon, because I have it running on a dedicated 1gb server.

Alrighty then since no one is going to reply, I found out that eaccelerator
was causing this error and so I have turned it off, but now my serverload
is huge, any tips?

That's bad. Could you please tell me which version of XAMPP are you using?

but now my serverload is huge, any tips?

What kind of PHP scripts do you use on your web server? Are they self-written or a "product"? If you call the top command. What are the top 3 processes? (Without top itself.)

Best regards

Hi there,

Im using the latest version, but older versions have the same results, I managed to reduce the load (Jammed NIC), its to bad that eaccelerator
crashes because I dont want to use zlib, parse overheads are killer.
