probleme beim starten von apache Webserver

probleme beim starten von apache Webserver

Hallo Forum,
ich folgende Fehlermeldung beim Starten von apache-Webserver über Webmin

Fehler

Konnte Apache nicht starten : Apache scheint nicht zu laufen : Starting httpd2 (prefork) ..done


In der error_log steht folgende Einträge (vom 12. 13/04)

wo liegt der Fehler ??
Ich arbeite mir SuSE 9.2, falls es wichtig ist.

nutzt du den apache, der bei suse dabei ist oder meinst du mit "beim starten" den xampp-apache?

falls du den xampp-apachen starten willst, mußt du vorher den suse-apachen beenden, falls du den default-port beim xampp-apachen nicht beendet hast!

ich habe den apache über Yast installiert :?

falls du den xampp-apachen starten willst, mußt du vorher den suse-apachen beenden, falls du den default-port beim xampp-apachen nicht beendet hast!

also wolltest du den suse-apachen starten? verstehe ich das richtig?
den xampp-apachen kann man nämlich auch per webmin starten, deshalb meine verwirrung...

welche WEBMIN Version benutzt du ?? gegebenfalls im Webmin auf Update gehen (derzeit ist Webmin 1.200 draussen)

nimm doch einfach den suse-apachen aus dem runlevel und installier dir die "hausmarke" = xampp! das klappt in deinem system vielleicht sogar besser als mit dem suse-apachen!? wer weiß, was bei der suse klemmt?!

p.s.: ich wunder mich sowieso leicht, daß du nicht einfach mal im suse-forum fragst und statt dessen bei der "konkurrenz" suchst :twisted: . ist nicht böse gemeint, aber naheliegend...

Okay und wo bekomme ich die RPM datei her ??
ich kann doch apache Suse doch deInstallieren, dann ist er ja auch weg :D

dazu brauchst du kein rpm. xampp ist bereits vorkompiliert und liegt hier im download-bereich als tar.gz bereit -> seite auswählen und downloaden!

dann folgst du exakt der anleitung (http://www.apachefriends.org/de/xampp-linux.html). die dateien werden nach /opt/lampp entpackt und apache, mysql usw. können per einfachem skript gestartet werden. dann solltest du einen funktionsfähigen xampp-rechner haben!

So habe das XAMPP installiert bekommen.
Nun die Frage, wie kann ich nun mein Mailserver damit weiterhin einrichten ??

1.) welchen mailserver willst du denn nutzen? den, der bei der susi dabei ist oder einen anderen?
2.) soll dein mailserver nur intern oder weltweit funktionieren?
