Dual Instances ???

Postby Tony_P » 22. February 2005 11:39

Is it common for Apache to show up as to instances running in the backround?? I noticed in the task manager in windows, that Apache was running twice, I have not noticed this before, which is causing some degradability issues on my server, Is there something that can be done to prevent this??

Thanx a Bunch??

Dual Instances ???

That's the normal behaviour from Apache/Win.

I reckon I should of stated it shows up as two separate processes, But thanx for the response, I am using the 1.4.12 version that you all just released, I must say, It sure was easier for me to load that , than to build the package manually, I kept getting stuck on getting PHP 5 to run correctly, So I do really apreciate this package.

What led me to ask, was I am intermitently recieving a Unable to process memory mofdule error, (x0000014) when restarting Apache, which led me to look at the different processes runing in the backround, Has this been noted before??

Also will phpBB2 php5 run correctely on this, iyt had a few bugs the last time I tried?
