Assistance with Postgres add on

Installed PostgreSQL add on v0.3 for XAMPP 1.4.11.

[root@grasshopper lampp]# /opt/lampp/lampp startpostgresql
Starting PostgreSQL
This account is currently not available.

It wouldn't start, because it said nobody:nogroup was an invalid group, so I changed ./INSTALL to read nobody:nobody.

It installed, but it won't start. When I visit http://localhost/phppgadmin I get:

Fatal error: Call to a member function Execute() on a non-object in /opt/lampp/phppgadmin/classes/database/ADODB_base.php on line 114

Anyone have any ideas?
