Hi. The apache webserver was working, but then i shut it down, and now it wont start.
The error message i get is this:
Starting Apache with SSL (and PHP5)...
1mError 1! Couldn't start Apache!
Starting diagnose...
Sorry, I've no idea what's going wrong.

Hi,
please check the logs in
/opt/lampp/logs
error_log should be the most interessting.

I could not find anything in the error logs that suggested why apache wouldn't start. But then I got a new copy of the httpd.conf file and apache started.
