Problems with the Linux version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

I'm going to upgrade from 1.4.2 to 1.4.9a. What is the fastest and easiest way to do this?
Do I have to apply every upgrade one at a time or is there a smarter way?
And what will happen with my personally configured files? Will I have to get them up to date for every upgrade (if I do them one version at a time) or can I just fix them after applying all upgrades?
thanks in advance

Hi,
you have to upgrade one at a time...
always to the next higher Version.
Your config Files shouldn't be touched.
But I'd back them up just to be on the safe side.
So long

I'd just like to say that it worked like a charm. I just ran all the upgrades after each other and then it was finished.
Thanks for a great upgrade function.
