Postby JusticeIsDead » 27. October 2004 06:53

http://hangar.servegame.com/images/mall.jpg <-- this is not showing up at all

http://hangar.servegame.com/images/dibank.jpg <-- this one shows up fine in my browser from the localhost, but as u can see doesnt look very good to others.

ummm, i would but see, im not sure which part, if any, is faulty, i have done bugmans fix, which is the same exact one on the apache sites, i even found this:

Code: Select all
EnableSendfile off
EnableMMAP off
Win32DisableAcceptEx

and did it just like that, but to no avail, i still am having the problems, ill repost the links so you can see exactly what problems i am having:

Just to ask... have you opened the "bad" image in an image viewer or editor? Just to make sure that it is a good file?

yes i have, all the images work properly in a photo program, and as well work properly if uploaded to a different site and loaded in IE from there, and its not just "a" bad image, it is serveral images.

well, it seems that when i save my jpg's i save the file too big, as far as progressive scanning and layering, and the poor apache server cant hadle it, i resaved all of them and toned down on the scanning and layering and they all worked fine.

but the lack of support that i see on these english boards are devestating!!

it kinda dumb to reply to a post with "the post was to long to read" and when i altered it to be smaller i still didnt get a response, i even PMed the guy who said that to let him know that i altered it, and still no reply, wtf?

i hope no one has a BIG problem, cus the way i see it so far, if the problem is too big, and takes a long post to explain, then the person is just fuct and will never get an answer here, too hard, too long, requires to much thinking, or whatnot . . . . . . .i dont read the german very well, but it seems to me there isnt a lack of support going on, on the german boards.

anyway im figuering that the staff wont even read down this far, im expecting to get a "this post has too many comma's and periods to read"

Interesting to hear that Apache didn't like the size of the files. That is the first I have heard of Apache having a problem like that. Makes me wonder if there is a setting in httpd.conf that can "fix" that issue.

I hope that the support gets a bit better after your point being made. I am new to this site and hope to get answers when I need them. Of course, if I have a clue, I will offer my help.

i think it was more the Uber resolution then it was the actual size of the file.
as you can see the no support issue doesnt seem to be an issue at all :?
