XAMPP istalled but does not work

I downloaded XAMPP for Windows and istalled it on my Windows XP Pro withs SP2 machine.
Trying to start XAMPP only results in this message.

Disabled use of AcceptEx<> Winsoc2 Api is normally permitted. : make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:443
Unable to open logs

When I type http://localhost in the address bar of IE6 I only get an error message.

My PC is behind a DSL Router, AVG Antivirus (free edition) is running.
I already uncommented the following line in httpd.conf:
Win32DisableAcceptEx ON

This didn't work either. I did reboot several times.
Is there anybody who can help me?
