Turck MMCache

Development for Turck MMCache has stopped, I believe. You can check out http://turck-mmcache.sourceforge.net/ for more information. There is a release for PHP 5.0 beta, and I might look into that to see if it can be altered and recompiled for PHP 5 final. Sucks, though. I really liked Turck MMCache. Y'know, the whole "it works and I don't hafto worry about it" factor was a big plus.

Until then...

Until Turck MMCache updates (if ever), I would use Zend Optimizer, it works pretty well. You should, however, get the newer version 2.5.3 from http://www.zend.com/store/products/zend-optimizer.php. Xampp 1.4.5 currently comes with 2.5.2, which has some bugs with my current version of Windows (Windows XP Professional SP2). I still like Turck MMCache better, but for now, Zend Optimizer is better than nothing. Oh yeah, I installed it to C:\xampp\php\Zend\, if anyone was interested.

I installed successfully. It's working with 4.3.8 and 5.0.0 version until now very well!
