XAMPP Issue with Big Sur

Hello all,

I'm using mac. Recently I update the operating system with the official version of MacOS Big Sur , then XAMPP 7.4.12 is no longer working, I try to reinstall it again also same issue.

please advise how to solve this issue

Deleting the hyperkit file in ".bitnami > stackman > helpers" and then restarting XAMPP worked for me

Just like i said in the other topics.

I'll try to guide you through, step by step.

First open a terminal window

Type:

Code: Select all

cd

and enter.
(To be sure you are in the right pad)

Then type:

Code: Select all

ls -a

Look for a folder called .bitnami, do you have that folder?

Then type:

Code: Select all

cp -R .bitnami .bitnami_backup

This wil make a copy of your bitnami folder, just to be sure!

Verify with:

Code: Select all

ls -a

Do you now have a folder called .bitnami AND a folder called .bitnami_backup?

Change to the helpers folder:

Code: Select all

cd .bitnami/stackman/helpers

Then:

Code: Select all

rm hyperkit

And type Y to the question of overwriting/removing.

After that, download this file, https://www.apachefriends.org/xampp-files/7.4.12/xampp-osx-7.4.12-0-vm.dmg
Run...
