Apache is not working

Postby Adi123 » 21. September 2019 12:45

Getting this error. I was trying to install PHP and suddenly found that apache is not working anymore on xampp.

Error: Apache shutdown unexpectedly.
3:48:06 PM [Apache] This may be due to a blocked port, missing dependencies,
3:48:06 PM [Apache] improper privileges, a crash, or a shutdown by another method.

Getting this.

Please help.

Not enough information.
We don't provide any support via personal channels like PM, email, Skype, TeamViewer!

I just installed XAMPP on Windows 10 and had the same issue. Was able to resolve this by shutting down IIS server which was already running - guessing IIS was using the port/resources that XAMPP needed to run. If you have any other web servers running on your machine, try shutting those down first. Hope you can get it up and running!
