I've tried a few suggestions that I've come across but none of them seem to work.
I'm simply trying to install Wordpress - I get an error page that says
Access forbidden!
New XAMPP security concept:
Access to the requested directory is only available from the local network.
This setting can be configured in the file "httpd-xampp.conf".
But I can't find a file called http-xampp.conf - only a file called http.conf in apache2/conf.
When I try to configure it, I get the message...
https.conf os located on a server volume. You can not unlock this file
...as I said, I've tried a lot of this suggested on the internet but nothing seems to work. I'm running High Sierra 10.13.6.
Are there any definitive instructions for this - I'm a bit puzzled as to why there would be a security feature that prevents you from using a product without having any documentation for the feature (unless I've just not found the documentation yet of course!).
Thanks,
Darren
