How to uninstall XAMPP completely on MacOS Mojave?

Postby brightshadow » 14. December 2018 10:51

I had a problem with XAMPP since I first installed it. For more information see this thread on stackoverflow https://stackoverflow.com/questions/53469068/cant-find-xampps-httpd-xampp-conf-file-on-macos-mojave

Anyway, no one could help me and I've tried to uninstall XAMMP completely. I can't remember what I've removed exactly but I've removed some XAMPP files in the /etc folder. And I've also done a search for every file that had "apache" in it and deleted all of those. But XAMPP is still working and acts like nothing is wrong. I've tried to reinstall it but everything stays the same.

What file do I need to remove to uninstall XAMPP completely so I can re-install it from scratch?

hi, I have the same problem. I deleted a database, but even if I delete the application I keep seeing the changed settings and I can not install the application from scratch and it does not connect to mysql anymore. Did you find a solution? Thank you.
