#1932 MYSQL Error?

Postby stevenc » 09. December 2018 17:37

I've reinstalled XAMPP WITHOUT a proper backup of the DB through PhpMyadmin, but with the file folders backed up in xamppfiles/var/mysql/.

I have followed the suggestions posted online in places like StackOverflow regarding file permissions/ownership, etc.

Now, PhpMyadmin shows the databases, but generates a #1932 Error. No data is viewable; neither is it viewable through the webpages of my site.

Any advice on how to fix the error?

Running Mac OS Mojave 10.14.1 with XAMPP for Mac OS X 7.2.5-0

The folders are not sufficient, did you backup the file "ibdata1" (and eventually "ibdata2" etc.)? These are holding the real data, the folders only keep the table definitions.

Anyway, you should have done a backup via phpmyadmin into a *.sql file.

I do have those files.

Unfortunately, I had a corruption on my Mac's OS and had to do a rebuild. I, therefore, did not have an opportunity to do a phpmyadmin sql backup. I do have the entire disk structure backed up, however, on TimeCapsule.
