Stupid question re mysql

Postby mhiga » 01. November 2018 12:02

This is probably a real stupid question to my real stupid action...
I just upgraded to XAMPP 7.2.11 on my mac and deleted the older one (don't remember what version). I had data in mysql. Is there a way to recover it?

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Do you have any backups from your Xampp installation?

I got the XAMPP file back using a data recovery software. However, when I click the button to turn on all servers, the indicator light turns from red to yellow and back to red.
So... instead of trying to fix this problem, is there a file that holds the mysql data that I can access?
Thank again.
