Where is Mysql on synology?

Postby Duivleo » 21. August 2018 10:37

Hello,

I have installed MariaDB and phpmyadmin on a Synology NAS. I imported an export-file made on a PC succesfully into the NAS-system.
My question is now: where can I find the data back in FileSystem. (I want to make a backup of de data-folder only.)

Regards,
Leo

We cannot give support for Synology NAS, you should ask in an appropriate forum. I have no clue which OS is running on Synology and how to access the local file system.

Thanks for reply Nobbie.
I can appreciate that you all can not support all sorts of media.

thanks and regards,
Leo
PS: For those interested: I just found out it can be done via SSH-commands using either Windows-10-Powershell or WinSCP. I think I have almost tackled this, but not there yet; access is denied; most likely to do with passwords. See Google for more.
